Getting More Women Active – Satellite Event
This Girl Can – VicHealth
We all want more women to sign up and keep coming back so our physical activity programs and activities benefit everyone.
Join us to hear about the latest research from This Girl Can – Victoria that shows the simple changes you can make to help more women get active.
You’ll hear about what women across Victoria have experienced and felt when being active and learn how this can help you create programs and places that will appeal to women. You’ll also be the first to get your hands on our new guide and leave with a clear plan of action.
This event is for anyone who gets people active – gyms, sports clubs, local councils, community groups and beyond.
When – Thursday 30 January 2020
Time – 9.45am arrival for a 10.00am start. Event finishes at 12.30 followed by lunch

What’s a satellite event?
A satellite event is a way to offer the same event experience in several places at the same time. Attendees will come together in the Council Board Room to watch this event via the live stream, and take part in the same group workshop activities that will happen at event HQ in Melbourne, with a direct line to VicHealth and Latrobe University staff.
Live Stream – Can’t make it? No stress – we’re live streaming as well, so you can watch the event anywhere! Sign up for the live stream here – https://forms.gle/MfkBT87BUDDHmrkq5
Send the VicHealth events team an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or would like further information.
We hope to see you on the 30th!
